My Insta360 Air review.
Just the size of a squash ball weighing to a maximum of 32grams. This little 360 camera packs a resloution of 2560 by 1280 megapixle for Video and 3008 by 1504 megapixle for photos. The Lens is F2.4.
This camera does not have an internal battery thus it draws power from the phone.
The resolution and end results is stunning. The pictures are sharp. Comparable with many big players like Ricoh Theta and Samsung Gear 360. I have no complains. It does however as some setbacks.
1) The fact that the camera is mounted on the mobile phone. The cameraman will always have to be in the picture. However, the work around is to use a bluetooth selfie remote controller.
2) Due to its light weight, it does not have any storage or power. All these will have to come from your mobile phone. Be sure to pack a backup charger.
3) The camera heats up after about 10 shots for photographs and will black out for a few seconds. Each video shoot is best to set at a limit of 15 minutes.
I have done a test shot. So far quite satisfying.
